I. Overview
The piston pressure gauge is a high-accuracy, high-reproducibility, and high-reliability standard pressure measuring instrument based on Pascal's law and the hydrostatic equilibrium principle. It is commonly referred to as a piston pressure gauge or pressure gauge and is also known as a pressure balance. It is mainly used as a pressure reference instrument in calibration laboratories, research labs, and industrial or scientific experimental settings. Piston pressure gauges are also used directly in high-reliability monitoring systems to monitor other instruments.
II. Performance Features
Fully complies with the national metrological verification regulation JJG59-2007 "Piston Pressure Gauge". Developed with decades of core technology, the piston pressure gauge has been marketed for over 20 years nationwide.
The piston and piston cylinder are made of high-strength, high-hardness, and low-temperature coefficient tungsten carbide material, ensuring minimal temperature expansion and deformation. This guarantees a very low rate of change in the effective area of the piston, resulting in extremely high sensitivity of the piston pressure gauge.
The piston and piston cylinder are finely polished, with minimal roundness error and gap, and the working medium is mixed oil, which greatly extends the rotation time of the piston. This reduces the piston descent speed and increases the piston’s ability to detect small changes in pressure.
To meet calibration needs, the effective area of the piston is relatively small, and the total weight of the weights is light, reducing labor intensity.
The system uses a direct load tray, avoiding additional vertical forces. This lowers the center of gravity of the weights and reduces lateral errors, making piston rotation smoother.
The weights are corrected for pressure deformation coefficients and local gravity acceleration.
During calibration, only the piston measuring system needs to be submitted for inspection. It is compact and lightweight.
